Hello one and all and welcome to the Shipley Farm
Site.
Here you'll find gentle Shipley Farm Goat's Milk Soap, and coming soon, wool for hand spinners and weavers.
We are located in the beautiful upper Blue Mountains, west of Sydney, Australia.
We currently run Toggenburg Dairy Goats and chooks (fowls). We have one productive
and one "in preparation" organic garden. The whole place is run organically. The organic manures are starting to have an effect
upon the small, underperforming orchard. We look forward to apples, pears, peaches and mulberries next spring, summer.
The boys have started a guinea pig enterprise, so we should be waist deep in guinea
pigs in the next few months.
Ginny and I will be adding rabbits soon, a Flemish Giant Buck and New Zealand
White does. The more droppings, the better.
This seven acres we are custodians of is just starting to breathe again after
a prolonged drought and over grazing.
